Intro: The First Spark ⚡️
I didn’t always know I wanted to be a photographer. But I’ve always known I wanted to create.
Growing up, I was drawn to visuals — colors, textures, the way light changes a mood. I was endlessly curious about how people express themselves and what makes someone feel truly seen. I didn’t have the words for it then, but I knew I was chasing a feeling: the magic that happens when someone feels completely at home in their own skin.

Finding My Creative Roots 🌱
Before I ever picked up a camera, I explored all kinds of creative outlets. Art, poetry, photography, songwriting, filming, storytelling — anything that allowed me to dive deeper into the world around me and share pieces of my perspective.
Eventually, after allowing myself the freedom to explore and let go, photography found me. I realized I could capture a feeling, a fleeting moment, or a hidden side of someone that even they might not have seen yet. I fell in love with the idea of using images as a language — a way to tell stories without saying a word.

The Pivot to Photography 📸
The transition into photography felt natural, but that doesn’t mean it was easy. Like so many creatives, I battled imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and the fear of putting myself out there.
But every time I picked up my camera, I felt that same pull: the desire to create something real, something that feels like you. That push to capture a moment honestly, to make someone say, “Wow… that’s actually me,” kept me going. I say it all of the time, but I really do think it is possible to be obsessed with your photos.

Becoming The Photographer For Unconventional Entrepreneurs and Creatives ❤️🔥
Starting Mewphotovideo was my leap of faith. I wanted to create a space for unconventional creatives — artists, musicians, entrepreneurs — to tell their stories visually in a way that felt bold, authentic, and deeply personal.
In the beginning, it was just me, my camera, and a dream. I hustled, experimented, learned (a lot), and grew. I dabbled in shooting couples, families, weddings, even real estate. While I can still do those things, I slowly, I realized my work and my approach to creativity and storytelling was meant for more than just portraits. I realized that branding and creative portraiture was a space that I really thrived in.
My shoots became an experience. A transformation. A chance for my clients to see themselves in a new light and share that with the world. I felt immensely drawn to doing that for other unconventional creatives like me because I feel so alive and passionate being a creative director.

My Philosophy Today ✨
My approach to photography is simple: I believe everyone deserves to be obsessed with their photos, and you don’t have to be a model to make that happen.
I don’t do cookie-cutter shoots or force people into stiff poses because we saw it on Pinterest. Each session is personalized and deeply collaborative. I create mood boards, explore creative direction and design, and build an environment where my clients feel safe to play, explore, and express themselves.
I work with creatives who want more than “just headshots.” They want images that feel like them — full of personality, story, and heart.

Lessons Along the Way 🌿
This journey has taught me so much, both as an artist and as a person.
I’ve learned that perfection isn’t the goal — connection is.
I’ve learned that confidence is built through small moments of courage.
And I’ve learned that authenticity always attracts the right people.
These lessons shape how I show up for my clients today. My goal is always to help them feel seen, celebrated, and empowered to share their story with the world.

There’s so much more to come, and I can’t wait to keep telling stories that feel like home.
