Photography gave my curiosity somewhere to go
Paying attention changed everything.
Have you ever noticed...
The way the light changes.
The colors you're drawn to.
The songs you replay.
The movies you pay to see in theaters.
The questions you can't stop asking...
Very little about us is random.
Our lives quietly reveal who we are long before we know how to explain it.
That realization changes the way I look at creativity.
That it's not just something we produce, and it’s not only reserved for the left brained.
Creativity is a way of discovering meaning in ourselves, in others, in the world around us.
I don't think creativity begins with making
I think it begins with noticing.
The more I paid attention, the more I realized that creativity isn't reserved for artists. It's a way of relating to the world.
To remain open.
To remain curious.
To notice patterns.
To become more aware of ourselves, the people around us, and the lives we're building.
That's the practice that eventually became the heartbeat of my work. Not because I have all the answers, but because I kept discovering better questions.
Photography is the place where everything I love coexists.
Observation met design.
Cinema met storytelling.
Fashion met psychology.
Curiosity met creativity.
Music met emotion.
Photography gave all of those interests somewhere to meet.
I could study light like a designer.
Listen like a documentarian.
Notice patterns like a psychologist.
Tell stories like a filmmaker.
And create something that helped another person recognize themselves a little more clearly. The photographs simply become evidence of that process.
One thing is for certain. You'll leave our time together with greater clarity than when you arrived.

What working together is actually like
Well for starters, we'll probably spend as much time talking about your ideas as we do talking about locations, outfits, and lighting.
The way you work. The way you decorate your home. The books you recommend. The music you replay. The clothes you reach for. They're all clues.
My job is never to invent your personality. It's to notice what's already there and help translate it into something you can see—and something other people can recognize too!
By the time we pick up the camera, we're not guessing anymore. We're expressing something we've already begun to discover together.
